Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of young heartache achieved widespread popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift was a fan of music from a young age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children until her first performance before the crowd of a thousand. Swift was eleven years old when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Following that Swift began to write songs and got a guitar. Swift, who took her influences from the music of Shania Twain and that of the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of music from the country genre, created her original songs to reflect the feeling of being alienated. Swift's family moved into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of thirteen so she could spend longer pursuing country music labels in Nashville.
